Paul Marciel Souza FINE ’47Paul Marciel Souza FINE ’47 was an accomplished watercolorist, oil painter and educator. Souza was born in Hawaii and attended the University of Hawaii before finishing his studies at Art Center School. He studied with Isamu Noguchi, Frederick Taubes and Millard Sheets. Souza was a professor at Art Center College of Design for 45 years influencing the careers of many of today's important illustrators and artists. Up until his peaceful passing on October 10, 2007, Paul Souza was painting and teaching classes. He was 89. |
