Christopher Dibble PHOT '05 invites you to "Love Never Dies," an international group exhibition which explores the themes of marriage, family, relationships, aging and generational change in the LGBTQ communities, showing at Form+Content Gallery and Traffic Zone, with additional curatorial contribution by Walker Art Center, in Minneapolis, MN, opening June 5th. Christopher will be showing two images from his ongoing series addressing aging in the LGBTQ communities.

Mike Heller PHOT '87 won first and second place in the Feature Photo category at this year's New York Press Association Better Newspaper Contest Awards (for calendar year 2009). He also won first place in the Picture Story category. The newspaper he works for, the Sag Harbor Express, also won second place in the Photographic Excellence category.

Leland Lee PHOT '52 shares that an exhibition of architectural photographs primarily of the iconic ELROD House, designed by the late great John Lautner ran from Feb. 12 through March 24 at the Michael H Gallery in Palm Springs. palmspringslife.com.

Bruce Osborn PHOT '75 was featured in the April podcast from Candid Frame. Candid Frame is a series of in-depth interviews with photographers and is hosted by Ibarionex Perello, an instructor at Art Center.

Lara Rossignol PHOT '85 recently shot for Dixie, Wolfson Children's Hospital and Sandpiper. Lara has also played pool competitively for about 12 years. She recently won a preliminary tournament qualifying her to play in the U.S. Amateur Championships and was featured in this article.

David Jordan Williams PHOT '75 recently held an exhibit of his photography in Santa Monica at the 18th Arts Center. The imagery is a sampling from the forthcoming coffe table book, Celebrate Ballona!, documenting beauty of the Ballona Wetlands in Los Angeles. The book highlights the struggle to keep developers from completely plowing under the wetland and describes the fight and final court victory that forced the developers to restore part of what they had already destroyed. Michael K. Yamaoka PHOT '68 has a three day preview of photography from the month-long exhitibt coming in 2011, Photography: Encounters. The event runs March 31 through April 2 at New Art Center in New York. The exhibition showcases Yamaoka's recent works from Moscow, Paris, Vienna, Prague, Beijing, Germany, Japan, New York and Chicago. info@newartcenter.net

Ka Yeung PHOT '77 traveled to China in 1996 to view the middle tributary of the Yangtze River before the geography of the area was altered forever by the Three Gorges Dam flooding. For Yeung, it was both a significant example of China's transformation and of change in our world. The images are on display at the Crow Collection of Asian Art in Dallas through May 16.
