Michael Etter GRPK '03 is involved with a new project in Portland that replaces billboard advertisements with billboards designed by teenagers featuring messages of tolerance. This project, Create, Don't Hate! , gives students the opportunity to work with design professionals to create meaningful communication in their neighborhoods. Earl Gee GRPK '83, Partner and Creative Director of Gee + Chung Design, San Francisco, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design, representing over 1,300 designers in graphics, interaction, experience, motion and affiliated fields in the Greater Bay Area. He will be serving a two-year term as Membership Co-Chairman.
