What does the great art and design college of the 21st century need to be? And how can it best serve its students? Over the past year, the entire Art Center community—students, faculty, staff, trustees and alumni—have examined these questions together as part of a visioning process.
This all-inclusive procedure has culminated with Art Center’s new strategic plan, a five-year strategy to realize a vision pertinent for our future while honoring our distinguished and influential past. It is a strategy created by artists, designers and educators deeply committed to student learning and to the values embedded in our mission.
Join us on the path we’ve taken up to this point by exploring the resources below.
ART CENTER’S STRATEGIC PLAN
The visioning process that led to the creation of the strategic plan kicked off with a panel discussion in January 2010. Watch videos of the event.
Art Center’s five-year strategic plan was presented to the community on March 8, 2011. View the presentation.
The planning process for Art Center consisted of two major phases of work: the visioning phase and the strategic planning phase. Below are the final reports issued by the task forces created as part of the visioning process, as well as the strategic planning committees.
